There’s not gonna be a haiku today.  I apologize for that.  In a few short months, this silly little idea of mine has gained almost 40 followers, and posted almost eighty different poems.  I have no delusions of grandeur. I realize this is a goofy idea, and that this blog isn’t big, but that doesn’t matter.  If even one person reads and enjoys these, then it’s worth it.  I have written the bulk of these, but I’ve had plenty of submissions too.  I’ve really enjoyed writing for this blog and seeing what you guys could come up with.  Unfortunately, the wolves are at the door, and we have SOPA and PIPA to worry about.  If they come after Tumblr, I guess MGS Haiku is going down with the ship.  I sincerely hope you’ve signed petitions, called your representatives and made yourselves heard.  I don’t know what’s gonna happen, but I did want to say I appreciate each and every submission, reblog and like I ever got for this idea of mine.  You guys have been great, and hopefully this isn’t goodbye.  If it is, thank you for the support.  It means the world to me.
